We are pleased to invite you to our free webinar titled “Buying Translation for Beginners” which will be live on Wednesday 17th February at 15:00 (GMT time).
You will hear the basic information you need when buying translation, including pricing, time scales and how to ask for a quote. With the presentation lasting 20 minutes, there will also be plenty of time for a Q&A session at the end.
Can’t make it on Wednesday morning? Not a problem, write to us at email@example.com if you are interested in getting access to the full presentation, would like further information or have a specific request.
Christmas already seems like a lifetime ago and January has already come and gone. Here at TranslatorsVillage, we have hit the ground running and are starting 2016 as we mean to go on. Find out what we have been up to over the Christmas break and what exciting news you can expect to hear from us in the following months.
At the end of December, we launched our New Year’s Wishes and Resolutions campaign to inspire and be inspired by others. Our New Year’s Resolution is to “drop what’s not working for you and move on”, something that we intend to carry with us throughout 2016 and not just for the New Year. It was great to see some of our translators getting involved with this campaign, too, and we wish them all the best with their resolutions.
Since our last newsletter, we have published another new video which features some of our translators. This video showcases just how global TranslatorsVillage is as a community, and how far-reaching our network is. You can watch it, together with our other videos, on our YouTube channel here where you can also subscribe for updates and new videos.

Over the next few weeks, keep an eye out on our social media channels as we will be hosting free webinars. Our first free webinar, “Buying Translation for Beginners”, will take place on Monday 8th February at 14:00 (UK GMT) and will last for approximately half an hour with a Q&A session at the end.
As the title suggests, this webinar will be a brief overview on what you need to know when buying translation with little experience in the domain. More information will be released next week through our social media channels, including the link you will need to register. If you are not a social media fan, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you the link directly.
We want to make your Translation experience easier, and every little helps. The webinar will be repeated every Monday in February and will be followed by the Advanced level one.
Happy Chinese New Year!
